Returns, Refunds & Exchange Policy

We hope you love everything you bring home from Ferguson Finch. We put real care into every piece we choose, and we want you to feel just as delighted when it arrives as you did when you spotted it. Occasionally something isn't quite right, and that's perfectly okay — here's how we can help.

Please take a moment to read our policy below so you know what to expect. If anything is unclear, we're always happy to talk it through.


Online Returns Policy

  • We're happy to accept returns on full-priced items, for a credit note or exchange, within 14 days of delivery, provided the conditions below are met. Refunds are offered where an item is faulty (see Australian Consumer Law below).
  • To be eligible, items must be in their original condition and original packaging, with original tags attached, unworn, unwashed and in new, saleable condition.
  • Earrings and pierced jewellery, beauty and skincare, and fragrances cannot be returned unless faulty, for hygiene and safety reasons.
  • Gift cards, clearance items and sale items are not eligible for credit note, exchange or refund.
  • Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable unless the item is faulty.
  • We ask that you return items using a tracked postal service. We can't be held responsible for returns lost or misplaced in transit.
  • Return requests are approved and accepted at our team's discretion, in line with this policy.

How to Request a Return

1. Contact us first. Email us at hello@fergusonfinch.com.au within 14 days of delivery, letting us know which item(s) you'd like to return and why. Please wait for our written confirmation before posting anything back.

2. Post it back to us. Once approved, securely repackage your item (with enough padding to prevent damage in transit) and send it, with your proof of purchase enclosed, to:

3. We'll inspect and let you know. Once your return arrives, we'll inspect it and email you to confirm we've received it. Provided it comes back in its original condition, we'll then issue your refund, credit note or arrange your exchange. Please allow up to 10 business days for your return to be processed.

We reserve the right to decline a return if the item doesn't comply with the terms of this policy.


In-Store Purchases Returns Policy

  • We do not offer change-of-mind refunds on items purchased in store. We warmly encourage you to try on clothing and shoes with us before purchasing, as we're unable to refund an item simply for not fitting or suiting.
  • At our team's discretion, we may offer a credit note or exchange for a change-of-mind return within 14 days of purchase, provided the item complies with the terms of this policy.
  • To be eligible, items must be in their original condition — with original tags attached, unworn, unwashed, unused and in new condition — and accompanied by your store receipt or proof of purchase.
  • Gifts cannot be returned without a gift receipt or proof of purchase.
  • Gift cards, clearance items, sale items, earrings and pierced jewellery, beauty and skincare, and fragrances are not eligible for credit note, exchange or refund unless faulty.

Australian Consumer Law

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law always apply, regardless of where or how you purchased, and nothing in this policy limits them.

You are entitled to a refund or replacement of any item if it fails to meet the consumer guarantees. These guarantees apply to items that are:

  • unsafe,
  • defective or of unacceptable quality,
  • not matching their description or sample, or
  • not fit for their intended purpose.

Eligibility for a refund or replacement is assessed on a case-by-case basis. If you believe you're entitled to a refund or replacement under Australian Consumer Law, please write to us at [hello@fergusonfinch.com.au] with details of your claim, including photos where relevant, and we'll work with you to make it right.
